Maths...
some say my maths is good, some say my maths is OK, and some even say my maths is damn good. the truth is, my maths is just OK. not that good, and not that bad, just soso.i just had a maths competition last thursday, this competition is not hard, and is not easy. the hardest thing for my friends is that---they can't use calculater. haha, that means i have damn lot of advantage.
since young, we (i mean malaysian) are forbidden to use calculator on class, i mean maths class. and we just allow to use ur head to find out the answer. so we use head (i mean brain) to figure it out. in here, they (i mean australian) use calculator to do some easiest question, even 33+23. for us, easily we wil knoe it is 56, but they stil have to use calculator.
sometimes, i still don't understand why they don't use head more often. no offence, but it is true sometimes. anyway they are ok, i go on with them quite alright though.
now after i have check the question of the competition, i found out that i have done some mistake. those that i suppose to get right, i didn't do it. ohh yeah..did i mention that their marks r quite wierd.
there are 30 questions. first ten question are 3 marks, second ten questions are 4 marks, and the last ten are 8 marks if u got it right, 0 mark if u got it wrong, and 3 mark if u didn't do it...it means if u just leave it unanswered..
isn't that wierd...
..but anyway hope i can get a better result.
..we should be proud of ourselves...i mean malaysian..:)
